INTERESTED IN JOINING?

Parents and new prospective swimmer should drop by the pool at 5 pm to talk to Bob Miller for a pretest for the swimmer and to pick up a swim team brochure for the parents. The swimmer must be able to swim more that one length of the pool freestyle with proper breathing and be able to swim breaststroke with a frog kick.

BISC Mission Statement:The mission of the Bainbridge Island Swim Club is to provide a multi-faceted swim program with the goal of meeting the needs of each swimmer from the recreational to the highly-competitive. (March, 2003)

Process for Conflict Resolution within BISC. (More detail in Parent Handbook.) I-Conflict between swimmer and coach: swimmer talks to coach; swimmer, coach and parent have meeting; II-Conflict between parent and coach: parent arranges meeting time with coach, NOT during practice. III-Conflict between parent and BISC Booster Club: parent comes to BISC Booster meeting to discuss problem.
