Dryland exercises, surgical tubing and swim bench work is offered at weekday swim practice.
Jr Swim Team, Level 1: (mostly ages 6-7 yrs) : Having fun, learning proper strokes, starts and turns. Swim meets are available.
Level 2: Advanced younger swimmers and novice older swimmers graduating from Splash Class.
Level 3: Usually swimmers 9-12 yrs. Continued emphasis on stroke technique. Dry land exercises and in water conditioning is increased.
Level 4: Advanced swimmers 11 yrs & up. Emphasis shifts to a more serious training regiment. Attending five 2-hour swim workouts a week or more is encouraged plus a minimum of four 1/2- hour dryland exercises.
Level 5: Swimmers with high goals who are ready to dedicate themselves to regular dryland exercise and commit to a minimum of six 2-hour swim workouts per week.
